Subic & Clark |
In support of the economic thrust of the government, GTS opened
its first branch office in 1995 at the Subic Bay Freeport Zone
initially to meet the growing insurance requirements within
the Zone. Today, GTS Subic holds office at the Subic International
Hotel Annex Building on Labitan road, inside the former naval
base and has expanded its client base to as far as Bataan and
Pampanga.
As GTS continued its expansion, a Joint Venture Agreement was
reached in 1997 between GTS and the Clark Development Corporation
Services, Inc. Hence, in February 9, 1998, Clark Asset Protection
Insurance Brokers Corporation (CAPIBC) was born. The primary
functions of CAPIBC are to design, plan and implement insurance
and risk management related programs to protect assets within
the clark Special Economic Zone. CAPIBC also aims to assist
the Clark Development Corporation in ensuring that the private
sector firms within the Zone comply with its standard insurance
requirements.
